              2015

              Founding

                Submer was founded by Daniel Pope and Pol Valls with the vision of building sustainable and future-proof digital infrastructure.
              2018

              SmartPod Launch

                Submer launched its first commercial product, the SmartPod: a modular immersion cooling solution designed for high-density datacenters.
              2019

              US Operations

                Submer expanded its operations into the US, establishing a North American HQ in Houston, TX, and an R&D lab in Sausalito, CA.
              2021

              Submer Labs Launch

                Submer Labs launched, a division dedicated to R&D, with a mission to advance next-generation cooling and automation.
              2023

              Taipei Operations

                Submer expanded its global footprint by opening an R&D lab in Taipei, Taiwan.
              2024

              SmartPod EXO Launch

                Introduction of the SmartPod EXO, a hyperscale immersion platform designed for large dry-cooled and heat reuse deployment capabilities.
